Having been a graphic designer/illustrator for more than 25 years, Bill Tomsa has been
focused on a full time career in fine art since the late 90’s. Working mostly in acrylics,
Maine landscapes, street and coastal scenes are the dominate subjects of his paintings, which have been exhibited and won awards in both Maine and Arizona. Bill's artwork is collected throughout the United States as well as Canada, England, France, South Africa and South Korea.His painting, “Morning Joe” was recently awarded first place in the Acrylics category in the 2011 Maine Open Juried Art Show (MOJAS) in Waterville, Maine. Bill states, “My hope is that the joy and inspiration that I experience while creating my art is transferred through it to my audience and collectors.” Bill is a member of the Boothbay Region Art Foundation, Plein Air Painters of Maine (PAPME), Kennebec Valley Art Association and the Five Rivers Arts Alliance.
